Tighe's
is located in the heart of Ballymote village in County Sligo. The store offers
its customers a unique selection of giftware including: Belleek, Duiske and
Tipperary Crystal to name just a few. The Store also services the village as a
stationery supplier, newsagents, grocer and has a magnificent garden centre to
the rear. Tighe’s also stock a vast range of children’s toys.

Prior
to our introduction I spent quite a lot of time searching for someone to do
the work - and there doesn't appear to be many out there.
Most of the independent designers out there are still stuck in Celtic Tiger
mode and are not prepared to tailor or compromise design to suit budget and
accommodate existing structures/fittings - they want to leave a monument to
their design skills. They also seem unaware of the day to day
practicalities of running a shop and again insist on starting with a blank
canvas.

The
service received from the Design Shop was exceptional. All aspects
of the project were delivered ahead of schedule with exacting
attention to detail. Drawings were very clear with no requirement for the
manufacturer to revert with queries. 3D drawings made it very easy for a
layman such as myself to visualise the finished product.

Time
was taken during consultations to ensure a good understanding of my needs and
ideas for the project. Every request was catered for in the final layout.
Where the Design Shop really stood out in my case was their
understanding of retail and ability to make use of existing
structures. Clever cosmetic changes to existing units made them unrecognisable
as well as complementing new units. The Design Shop sourced a cabinet maker
who manufactured the units at a fraction of the cost of the usual shopfitters.
This gave a bespoke appearance to the shop at no great cost.
I would
recommend the Design Shop to anyone either newly fitting or refitting a shop
and will gladly go into greater detail with any prospective client of the
Design Shop.
